An elegant, mid 20th century engagement ring, modeled in platinum, whose primary gem is a .53 carat old European cut diamond (I/J, SI1). This sparkling, hand-cut sweetheartis mounted in a low-profile, four-tabbasket setting—its "picture corner" style tabs are embellished with fine milgrain. This basket is hand-pierced with a simple chevron pattern, and is flanked bynesting trios of diamond-set, marquise-shaped seats that make-up the ring’s shoulders. The accent diamonds are bead set, and theirshapely seats are finished with delicate milgrain. This ring has a sweet, serene presence— the ring's shoulders remind us of eyes (if you ever felt six extra eyes might be useful!), but theycould also be leaves, depending on your perspective. This ring is marked for purity. It would make a lovely engagement ring.
